When it comes to going back to college, you can—and should—shop around for the best program and school for you.

Talk to as many schools as possible that offer the major.

You can even ask if the programs you are interested in can do draft transfer evaluations of any previous credits you have.

Knowing which colleges can maximize your credits or where you can get the best courses to fit your needs are two very important factors in deciding where to go back to school.

If the best college for you is not in your hometown, ask about online or blended programs to help you earn your degree.
